I thought it would be fun to see how many new cache sites I could find near to Mills in my local area. These will include Watermills and Windmills, some still in use, some now used for other purposes. Most mills are sited in nice surroundings, so I hope you will enjoy visiting them. I will be adding new caches to this series over the next few months.
All the micros are hidden right on public footpaths. None of them will be very close to private houses. Some of them are near public highways, but many are along private roadways, with only footpath access. Please park considerately, and do not drive along any private roads to access the caches.
Rowfant Mill Mark 2.
This cache is placed along a private road, with footpath access only. You could walk here from Copthorne,or from the Rowfant car park on Worth Way. I have archived the original version, as due to some groundworks, the cache and its hiding place have been lost. The new Mark 2 version is in a much nicer spot, nearer to the Mill Pond.
