How Geocaching Works
Its Only About The Numbers caches are a series that are designed to be quick easy finds. No hints, or clues, no gimmicky names. Do not try to read anything special into these, such as picturesque guard rail or breath-taking lamp post. The coordinates won’t always be averaged but you will know where to look when you see them. They do not take up valuable caching real estate and will be archived if they interfere with someone wishing to make a better hide.
Use them as a cool down from a long day of caching if you want, they are designed for the fun of adding to your numbers. If this does not appeal to you please put them on your iggy list. Just do not complain about them, as some people enjoy hunting the lame caches as much as creative and challenging ones. Variety is the spice of life.
