GILLIGANS ISLAND is one of of those shows that you couldn’t
just watch and forget. These castaways managed to get in more
predicaments on their tiny deserted island that any number of
people could walking the beach at Waikiki. From Japanese soldiers
to Voodoo Chiefs, to the Professors home-made inventions and
Ginger's seemingly inexhaustible wardrobe, the imagination ran wild
with comedic possibilities. Some of the episodes that stick out in
my mind are, as follows: The one where...
-The Presidente of Eucuarico is exiled on the island and makes
Gilligan his puppet ruler.
-Gilligan finds "The Eye of the Idol" and has three wishes for
the day.
-The perfect glue to mend the Minnow's smashed hull is found...
they think.
-A duck visits the island. Wild West mayhem ensues.
-A dream sequence has Mrs. Howell as Mary Poppins and Mary Ann
as Eliza Doolittle.
-A jungle boy is found, only to become a balloon boy.
-Skipper fixes the radio to transmit... but there's a catch.
-A radio show holds a "survivor" contest- except this island is
NOT deserted.
-An aviator is found stranded on the island and the castaways
fix his plane and send him for help. Too bad he can't fix their
position...
-A chimpanzee makes an appearance on the island. IS it Gilligan
under a voodoo spell?
Cache is located close by, but don't even think about visiting
the deserted island afterwards.... Have fun!

All kidding aside - go solve Jacob's Cabin - it's a cool
cache!
p.s. there is a letterbox close by this final, that can be
logged on Atlas
Quest. (The Letterbox page is not a spoiler - the hint for that
hide is sufficiently vague!).
