How Geocaching Works
A secret, yet public area that will take your breath away when you sneak closer to the spot. (Update: 4/26/09- Replaced with a new ammo can, loaded to the gills with Travel Bugs and tons of stuff.
This area was just made a park a couple years ago. Ever wonder where a river starts? Now you will see. Numerous high volume springs boil thousands of gallons of water a minute out of a hillside and form the headwaters to Token Creek and find their way to the Yahara River and the Madison Lakes. Bring a cup or water bottle and take a drink of the freshest artisan water in Dane County. You will not be disappointed. Plenty of wildlife, quiet and relaxing area. Upgraded to a nice ammo can and declared a TB Hotel to get more visitors. Hide well as this area is well traveled!! ** July 09: Due to vandalism issues at the park, a gate has been installed at the road to keep vehicles out and is locked during the week and on weekend nights. You can still walk in. 200 yards or so to the park.
