Nugget
Highway 175 is quite
scenic. It is also winding and narrow, so you must pay
attention to the road as you drive. But do stop to see this
little nugget. Someone treats it with TLC and it has become a
landmark on the way to Lakeport. If anyone
knows the history, please share it in your log!
The cache is located a little distance
away from the Nugget, in a safer place to park, but the gold can be
seen from the site. The ground is flat, but a 1.5 terrain is
due to the proximity of traffic.
Please stop for this cache only when
traveling west! If you are traveling toward
Lakeport, go past the site until you reach a safe location to turn
around. Be safe and enjoy!
