Geocache Description:

A fairly easy find at an historic (and famous) spot. See parking waypoint for a safe place to park.

For more than 20 years, Budweiser has been running their famous holiday commercial featuring the Clydesdales in a variety of scenic Vermont locations. (visit link)
This cache is at the stone-arch bridge pictured in that commercial, shot in 1987.
The bridge itself goes back a lot further, dating from the early 1800s. Too bad the town has since put cement sides and funky wooden rails on this historic structure.
The cache container is small - not much room for trading items. The log is in a micro capsule to keep it dry.

This bridge took a terrible pounding from Hurricane Irene and I was amazed that it was able to withstand the onslaught. Here is a link to video shot during Irene: (visit link)
