Um L zu finden, müsst ihr die Anzahl der Stunden mit der Menge der Taue multiplizieren. Vermindert das Hundertfache der gefundenen Zahl um die Stundenanzahl, und ihr habt L.
G findet ihr, wenn ihr die Zahl der Stunden erst mit sich selbst malnehmt bevor ihr sie mit der Menge der Taue multipliziert. Das Zehnfache dieser Zahl ist G.
An dieser Stelle haben die Elben einen Hinweis auf Lothlorien verborgen.
In der Himmelsrichtung, die im Zitat (nicht) genannt ist, findet ihr das Versteck.

You have to calculate the coordinates for the cache after finding the missing numbers in two quotations which are given in this text.
You need an edition of Lord of the Rings, so you can look up the quotations to complete the text.
“It was now nearly ? hours after noon and they had come only a few miles from the gates.”
"When at length all the company was gathered on the ? bank of the Silverlode, the Elves untied the ropes and coiled ? of them."
You calculate L by multiplying the number of hours with the amount of ropes. You have to subtract the number of hours from a hundred times the previous calculation.
G is found by multiplying the number of hours with itself. Afterwards you multiply the amount of ropes with the number, you calculated before. Ten times the result is G.

At this place the elves hid a note to show you the way to the cache. You take the direction (not) mentioned in the quotation. In the Cache you find a note for a bonus cache, belonging to the Lord-of-the-Rings-Serial (The hobbit - GC1MXEK). Best you take one of the notes with you.
