tiddalik: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

The coordinates are NOT for the final cache, but a convenient location to start this challenge.

Melbourne MAP (Monuments, Art & Plaques) Challenge is part 'Amazing Race', part 'City Romp', part geocaching but there are no big prizes, just a small 400ml sistema container painted brown / black . Hope you enjoy it...

Each clue below indicates a well-known place in the Melbourne CBD. Visit the location and find the answer hidden in the cryptic clues to be able to complete the challenge and find the final location.

- This Dark Knight surveys the land from the Plaza before making a mutual agreement with the local Wurundjeri people. According to the inscription on this statue, how many days after signing this treaty did this skilled bushman declare "This will be the place for a village." (E)
- Little Larry is man's best friend. He stands guard over the city square. How many studs on his collar? (B)
- Don't drink the reclaimed water in this Scots fountain! Instead, why not hold hands with a friend and admire it with the other onlookers. How many people are holding hands here? (D)
- Somewhere in the crowd you will find these metal men who brought their own lunch. How many men are there? (A)
- Charles never thought he'd be reading the Proclamation of Seperation when he first arrived in the colony of Victoria. How many button holes were on his jacket that day? (C)
- It was no Big Issue when this Anglican tearaway started a 'Holy Club' at Oxford to methodically study the scriptures. His statue can be found here. How fast can you legally travel to the parking at this location? (F)

The cache is located at:
S 37 48.(F)(C+A-E)(A+E) E 144 58.(B-C-D-A)(D)(A)

If you complete these challenges in order, it shouldn't take more than 90 minutes to walk. The difficulty rating is due to there being no coordinates for the various clues. The terrain rating indicates a 3 - 4 km hike but public transport is available.

This cache has been muggled twice, so the new container is a micro so byo pen!
