Geocache Description:

Alex loves history and this monument was perfect for our small silver bullet.

The town of Exeter NH is filled with history, most of it is easily accessible to all who care to look. The local Historical Society gave our kids a wonderful program which included a walking tour of the town. These types of programs are a wonderful way to make history come to life.

This small park hosts a cannon which incorporates the breech mechanism invented by Capt. George L. Smith USN, a native son of Exeter NH.

I believe this site to be accessible to someone with a walking disability but I'm not positive. If anyone with a disability can let me know, I'll update the attributes.

Happy hunting !
