Set in honor of nipponcacher's son and the U.S. Navy's 233rd
birthday, "Drake's Toybox II" replaces "Drake's
Toybox" (GC10FWC), which was muggled in the late summer of
2008.
The cache is located in the Misawa Public Garden, a park nestled
in a hillside next to the Buddhist temple in the Shinchou district
of Misawa, Japan. There is a terrific jungle gym available for the
kids. Bring a piece of string and some bread for the koi in the
ponds.
The cache is relatively close to the path, so some stealthiness
is required. Please make sure that you put the cache back exactly
where you found it, and camo it back up to make sure it does not
suffer the same fate as its namesake. Please watch where you step -
don't beat down the ferns too badly. Initial contents include:
- FTF Prize Package (certificate & 2008 Navy Ball
non-trackable coin)
- Nanocache & nanolog
- Keychain digital game
- Various other trinkets from Japanese vending machines

Well, time two no go, but third times a charm, right? I donated about a pint of blood to the mosquitos looking around both sides of both paths, but the gps only have me 35 foot acuracy, and never got me closer then 30 feet! Still a nice place to let the kids play on the jungle gym though.

GPS was bouncing back and forth, and a few muggles at the park. Awsome water lilies and ponds though! nice little hike and got a little muddy. ah well, maybe next time :(

Daughter and I looked all over but didnt' find it. I'll have to go back and scour the area again. Hope it wasn't taken away. Nice park.
