The cache is NOT ON THE ISLAND but approximately 250 feet from it.
The Cache is a microcontainer which holds a Waterproof Tear Proof Plasticized Log. Please bring your own Felt Pen or Pencil.....Ballpoint pens may not work well! Do not be concerned if it is wet. THE CACHE MUST BE RE-CLOSED CAREFULLY, AS SAND FREE AS POSSIBLE so that the container will not freeze shut
The Cache site is most easily reached by entering the beach from the central pavilion on the boardwalk at Pier Village in Long Branch, New Jersey. IT CANNOT BE REACHED FROM THE PAVED PATH! We heartily recommend that you plan to spend a portion of the day enjoying the area and its numerous restaurants, cafes and shops.
