At a point of interest between Misawa, Towada, and Rokunohe.
Tupperware container, original contents include a mini-football, a
clock, some coins, a bottle opener, a hand warmer, and log
book/pen. Feel free to take/leave at will.
We invented a new acronym after planting this cache. WOFHMH
stands for "Watch out for huge mud holes." :)
While looking for a good hiding spot one of my legs sank waist
deep in a mud hole. Luckily I had some backup with me, and a handy
tree.

November 17, 2008 by Jackalgirl (50 found) First to Find - W00T!The cache is located on the far side of one of the parks that makes up "Maple Town", a collection of parks in Rokunohe filled with maple and chestnut trees. There is a largish pond nearby that already had a compliment of ducks. Had no problems with waist-deep mud holes, thank goodness. My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed checking out the park and -- yet again -- Geocaching has lead us to a place we'll want to visit again for picnicking. Took: EAXMS Iraqi Freedom coin (what a nice coin!) Left: Pathtag ("Summer Grace"), Stitch fob, and a nanocache for someone else to hide and the rest of us to enjoy. Signed log. Thanks for the terrific cache! [This entry was edited by Jackalgirl on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 6:13:24 AM.]
