Einer von der Sorte Mini-Multi

Ist schon interessant, was die Leute so alles im Garten haben...

Hier hat jemand flugbegeistertes einen Motor von einer Boeing Stearman ergattert. Das ist ein Doppeldecker aus dem 2ten Weltkrieg. Der Motor hat etwa 150 PS und wurde auch in Panzern verwendet und ist wohl als Ersatzteil in einer Kiste nach Europa geschickt worden. Da lag er dann so etwa 30 Jahre, bis ihn dieser Herr gefunden hat. Er hat ihn nie gestartet, obwohl er sicher laufen würde. Der Propeller ist nicht original, der von der Stearman war deutlich kürzer.

Dank Schnuff und Nudel habe ich hier ein tolles Bild von der Stearman. Danke.
