Denna skog gömmer många hemligheter
och många har gått här in och aldrig återvänt.
För att blidka skogens vilja att guida dig på den rätta stigen vore det klokt att byta någonting som är en skatt.

Maskinen guidar oss på den rätta vägen,
men glöm inte att det är moder natur som bestämmer om du finner vad du söker.

Rya skog är en mycket gammal skog. Man har funnit dokument från 1678 av Erik Dahlberg där området nämns. Skogen har fått växa fram fritt och det är alsumpskog som täcker stora delar av området idag. Det finns även ek och hassel. De vanliga buskarna inom området är: hagtorn, röda vinbär, olvon och getapel. De vårblommor som finns är: desmeknopp, gullpudra, vårlök, vitsippor och svalört. På sommaren kan man finna storrams, ormbär, humle och rödblära här. De djur som finns inom området är: rådjur, grävling, ekorre, mindre flugsnappare, rosenfink, mindre hackspett, näktergal, härmsångare och kattuggla.

Rya skog is a very old forest. One has found document from 1678 by Erik Dahlberg where the area is mentioned. The forest have been allowed to grow freely and is alderswamp forest that covers large parts of the area today. There is also oak and hazel. The common bushes in the area is: hawthorn, redcurrant, guelder-rose and common buckthorn. The spring flowers that is: muskroot, golden saxifrage, gagea, wood anemone and lesser celandine. In the summer one can find flowery knotweed, herb paris, common hop and red campion here. The animals that are in the area are: roe deer, badger, squirrel, red-breasted flycatcher , scarlet rosefinch, lesser woodpecker, thrush nightingale, icterine warbler and tawny owl.
