This cache is at the Bush Field General Aviation
part of the Augusta Regional Airport. It took some time, and after
talking to 4 different people, we did get permission from the
Director of the Airport.
Please be mindful of the area, it is a living,
breathing, scared of everything airport. If you are fling
commercially in or out of Augusta Regional Airport, this cache is
within walking distance of the main terminal building. If you are
looking at the front of the main terminal building, look to your
right and you will see the tower.
While you are walking towards the tower, you will
come to a fence with big bushes. Go towards the end of the bushes
away from the building and look under the last bush.
You will see the large cache there.
I know that I have given a great deal of
directions for this cache; I did so that travels that are traveling
can get to the cache that may not have a GPS. GPS’s are hard
to get past the TSA. I should know, been there, done that, had to
dig it out, turn it on and make it work. Bring your Travel Bugs
with you. We love travel bugs, we like reading all about them.
These are the orginal contents of the Cool
Can.
.
Thank you and once again,
please be mindful of your surroundings. I am a pilot and know
how things cam be misconstrued into something else. It took a
lot to get permission ad I don’t want to upset anyone because
someone else thought it was malice. I want it to stay for a
very long time and be enjoyed by people coming and going from
Augusta.
I thought I'd add a list of
recent residents. I'll update this from time to time.
