At 893ft you may find an a camouflaged bison tube. It is disguised
in a manner that we saw in a hide by our geocaching friend
Caribbean Queen.
We parked at the old Strathmore plant. Hiked up the trail at the
trail head. There is a wonderful 310 degree view with very
challenging terrain. You will be tired. You will be sore. You will
see wonderful sights. Bring water and visit other local caches in
the area. We planted 4 caches along the trail while we looking for
GCKVQT Tekoa. Watch your footing. This is a hike to the top of a
mountain bordering the town of Westfield, MA Wear hiking boots if
possible, bring water. In the summer watch for rattlers. In the
spring there is a lot of water in places on the trail. This is a
beautiful hike and a spectacular view. Nice job FKROL on the
FTF!!!
