Byte Me Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

MeEtc: I went looking around the immediate area of the cache placement, and could not find the ammo can anywhere. There is a lot of garbage in the area and looks like kids and teens have thrown a lot of junk around here. This doesn't seem to be a suitable spot to place a cache anymore.

Geocache Description:

Military-grade ammo box located at the end of what was once a railway bridge.

This cache marks the entrance for what used to be a trail that led to Medic Medic and Seaview Look-Off Park, but the connecting bridge has since been removed. This cache will be active year-round, but may be extremely hard to get to if there is snow on the ground

The theme for this cache is anything and everything in the digital world. The original contents of this cache include:

  • Log book, writing utensil
  • Grey T-Shirt with the words "BYTE ME" on the front
  • Very low quality digital camera
  • An LED keychain
  • An old computer video card that no longer works

FTF prize is an Empire Theatres gift card good for one admission.

Inside the cache container, I have included a disposable camera. At one point in time I did have a very cheap digital camera, but it proved to be too much of a nuisance. I will post any pictures left behind as soon as each camera fills up.Camera will be replaced in Spring 2010

Taking a picture is not a logging requirement, but is encouraged.
