Smerem z Chlumce nad Cidlinou k Olesnici pod svahem vytvorenym tokem Labe, ktere temito misty protekalo v obdobi pleistocenu, se nachazi pramen, ktery vyvera pod kaplickou a vyteka zeleznou rourou do studanky.
Vydatny pramen vody zde vyvera jiz po staleti a svym slozenim se stal proslulym lecivym pramenem. Na pocatku 18. stoleti byl zde majiteli panství Kinskymi postaven dreveny domek se ctyrmi vanami - Svatojanske lazne. K lecivemu pramenu po mnoho let prichazeli lide trpici nemocemi oci, zimnici, bolestmi udu i s otevrenymi ranami. Lazne byly opredeny ruznymi povestmi. Vedle lazni stavala socha sv. Jana, proto take nazev U Janecka. V roce 1746 byly Svatojanske lazne rozboreny a premisteny do Kosicek. Pozdeji byla nad pramenem vystavena zdena kaplicka.
Pod studankou staval rybnik, kam voda odtekala a od jejiho slozeni vody byly ryby ruzne zbarveny. V sousedstvi studanky mela zahradu rodina V. K. Klicpery. Mlady Klicpera si toto místo oblibil a napsal o ni roku 1822 basen "Ma studanka", ktera ma ctyricet jedna slok.
V roce 2011 byl proveden nový rozbor vody Mestem Chlumec nad Cidlinou a voda v soucasne dobe neni pitna!!

This spring is on road from Clumec nad Cidlinou to Olesnice under a slope made by Labe river in the pleistocene. Wather spring from a iron pipe under a village chapel.
The srong spring is here for centuries and its constitution of mineral has happened the famous healing spring. In the early 18th century owner of Kinsky earldom was builded the wooden house with four baths (Svatojanske lazne - St. John spa). The spa was using by invalid people with problem of eyes, leg-ache and hand-ache, opend wounds and attacks of fever. The spe has had a differnt myths. The sculpture of ST. John was standing in proximity this spa that's why name „U Janecka“ (at St. John). In hte year 1746 was the spa demolish and moved in Kosicky village. The stone village chapel was builded above a spring few years later. The pond was under this spring and fish had variety of colors by reason of mineral wather. V. K. Klicpera’s family had a garden at this spring. Young Klicpera liked this place and wrote a poem „Ma studanka“ about its in the year 1822 which has forty one staff.
The city Chlumec nad Cidlinou made the analyse of wahter adn result is not good for drinking!!
