Geocache Description:

You are at “No-Where Tin Can Alley” along the Mojave Road.

Traveling in most back country areas you will run across old camps or settlements. Some where around the camp there is usually a dump of some kind. Always an interesting area of left over goods, from cars, truck, equipment, to nothing more than a bunch of empty rusting cans! Some times you run across these dumps out in the middle of No-Where! Like this one! Why is this here? But it’s a nice place to put a cache!

In your search for this cache – PLEASE! Pick up the item you want check for the cache and gently replace each item where you found it. DO NOT THROW THEM AROUND – this may have dislodged the original cache. Due to the remoteness of this cache it is not our desire to make people come out looking for it more than once – so we added an “ONSITE HELP” which can be accessed from the "Additional Waypoints" and “Hint” below. BUT FIRST TRY AND FIND IT WITH OUT USING THE HINT!

Terrain rating is high as you should be in a four wheel drive vehicle to travel the entire Mojave Road. If you are just coming from the paved road to this cache - most any high clearance vehicle will be fine as it is usually a good graded dirt road.

The Mojave Road is one of those great trails, over 130 miles (with out any side trips), filled with magnificent scenery, history, flora and fauna not normally scene. Not a trip to do on the spur of the moment, with out planning or in the wrong time of the year. Dennis Casebier and The Friends of he Mojave road have over the last 25 years continued to keep the road open and the “Mojave Road Guide” up to date to make “An Adventure Through Time” possible.

With out question get on the web site of Mojave Desert Heritage & Cultural Association, www.mdhca.org , for the most complete information and to get a copy of the “Mojave Road Guide”. Heed all of the books warnings in preparation for the trip.

CONGRATS to Dr Webe, The Ski Bum, and of course Spike_The_Geo_Dog for FTF!!! WOOT!!!
