Geocache Description:

This geocache is located on a beautiful piece of conservation land with an interesting history. Up until just a few years ago, there were remnants of a small one-room shack just off of the trail. Most passer-byers just saw an old pile of wood, a few pieces of furniture including a wood-burning stove, a bed and a kitchen table, and an assortment of smaller pieces of debris. But many residents of Bolton know of this shack as FBI Agent Hansen's secret hideaway. Hansen was an FBI Agent back in the 1960s, heavily involved in International Espionage. According to the small history snip-its found in some of books about Bolton's history, Hansen built this small abode to be used as a secret hideaway for whenever things weren't looking too good and he felt the need to disapear. The shack remained here until just a few years ago when it was decided that time had taken too much of a toll on it, making it a danger, and it was torn down.

The Conservation land has many trails through woods, hills, over a few streams, and even a beaver dam. The beginning of the trail is wide and relatively even, but then becomes more and more narrow. The geocache is located at the site of the shack, just a short distance in.

There is a small turn-off for parking (just 1 or 2 vehicles fit, but there usually isn't anyone else parked there) at the entrance, which is right at the intersection where Nourse Road connects to Green Road.

The cache is in a small tupperware container.

Enjoy!
