There is this really spiffy looking little tree on one of the unpaved parts of the Florence Rail Trail. Since this tree is so neat looking, I decided to hide my first cache near it. The park is open from sunrise until sunset. Be on the lookout for nature's creatures.[red}
Go to the part of the Florence Rail Trail by the back parking lot of Mcleod Health and Fitness Center. If you have entered the right part, you will be on a unpaved path on which you will see a small, railess bridge. At the end of the bridge, the trial splits off in three directions (The trail directly ahead of you with have some railing beside it). Take a short walk on the trail on the left until you come across a tree that looks kind of twisty/braided and then step off of the path. The cache, is a camoflauged (sp) lock box container on the groud.
