Deadman's Hill Lives is a replacement of the original Deadman's Hill cache (GCH2NY) due to private property issues. Deadman's Hill is along the Blackstone River. The hill gets its name from the snow sledders that use to slide down its steep slope trying to avoid the trees. The original cache dates back to October 2003 and is one of the older caches in this area. The original cache, log, and items are still in place.
Go to Max Read field on Pleasant St and park. Walk down past the baseball fields to the river. Look to your right and you will see a hill. Climb the hill staying on the trail. The cache will be on the hill before the fence. Please do not trespass onto the private property of the cemetery. Thanks to Liznewton, Tasha, and Samantha for the original placement of this cache. Also, since this cache is in a new place anyone who found the original Deadman's Hill Cache is allowed to take credit for a find.
