Un caché para entre tanto, por ejemplo mientras siguiendo la Ruta del Hereje. Whenever you like. Ein Cache für Zwischendurch.

La iglesia de San Miguel era iglesia de los jesuitas. El templo es de factura sencilla, pero de una gran riqueza en el interior: tiene retablo de Adrián Alvarez, en él se incluyen figuras de los apóstoles. Una de las capillas laterales, la de la epístola, ostenta un extraordinario Cristo Yacente. Ambas obras son de Gregorio Fernández como igualmente lo son los Arcángeles, en los laterales del presbiterio.
El templo posee una bella sacristía barroca ("Guia de Valladolid" de la Diputación de Valladolid).

Para mí personalmente es la iglesia de mi boda y también el lugar del bautizo de mis hijas.

St. Michaels Church in Vallodolid in former times had been church of the Jesuits. The appearance outside seems to be almost simple and artless, but in the interior there are several precious details like the retable made by Adrián Alvarez. It contains figures of the apostles, work of Gregorio Fernández, as well as the extraordinary statue of a lying Christ in one of the chapels beside or the figures of the archangels in the presbyterium. The temple also possesses a beautiful baroque sacristy (Source: Official Tourist guide of Valladolid).

For me personally the church of St.Michael means the location of my wedding and the baptism of my daughters.

Die Kirche San Miguel in Valladolid war in früheren Zeiten die Kirche der Jesuiten. Sie wirkt äußerlich eher unscheinbar, ist aber reichhaltig in ihrem Innern. Beachtenswert ist vor allem das Altarbild von Adrián Alvarez. Die in ihm enthaltenen Figuren der Apostel sowie eine außergewöhnliche liegende Christusfigur in einer der Seitenkapellen sind ebenso Arbeiten von Gregorio Fernández wie die Erzengel seitlich im Altarbereich. Nicht zuletzt verfügt die Kirche über eine schöne Sakristei im Barockstil. (Quelle: Offizieller Stadtführer von Valladolid).

Für mich persönlich ist San Miguel der Ort meiner kirchlichen Trauung und die Taufstätte meiner Töchter.
