ChipnDonna: Only 52 finds in 12 years in this way off in the corner location in Foothills Park. Unfortunately I've got an achy (but not breaky) hip that will severely limit my ability to maintain this cache. So I cleaned it out and I'm archiving the cache. Hopefully someone else will place one in this secluded spot.

Geocache Description:

A pint sized, camoed, water bottle cache along a fire road.

The closest public parking to entrances into Palo Alto Foothills Park via the Bay to Ridge Trail through the park is located at Arastradero Preserve Parking N37 23.224 W122 10.448 or at LT01 Gate Los Trancos Preserve N37 19.997 W122 10.538. It is ~2.0 miles to the boundary of Foothills Park from either parking area.

Please note: Palo Alto Foothills Preserve is open to the public from 8 am to sunset every day. A park map is found at (visit link)

You may hike on trails or fire roads in PA Foothills Preserve. The cache is no more than a few paces off the path.
