Salt of the Earth
The Salt of the Earth is a reference from the Bible (Matthew 5:
13-16). It comes from the teachings of the Sermon on the
Mount. The people are told that they are the "salt of the
earth and the light of the world". This is how I see the
caching community. They are supportive, good people who serve
others and the world around them.
This cache will be found a little way off the Deer Island Loop
Trail, near a side trail. The entire walk is fairly level and
easy. You will understand the cache name when you find the
cache. Savor!
