This micro (not a nano) cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. You MUST follow the instructions below to find this cache. Park hours 8:00am to sunset.
Have you ever felt nuts? I have; almond, hazel, brazil, pecan, walnuts, they all have different feelings. As I walk up this canyon I see many eucalyptus gumnuts. If you can find some fresh gumnuts, rub them in your hands and you’ll get that nice smell. I was feeling a little nuts when I thought up this cache.
To find this cache you must first know the coords of the trailhead cache, “A Trail To The Past”, GC1KAE5.
Very close to the trailhead cache is an information sign about the ranch. On this sign is the year that Burleigh Chase Murray was born. The last 2 digits of the year are ab. The last 2 digits of the year he died are cd.
To get to the cache, you need to proceed into the ranch until you reach a point that is dab meters on a bearing of c + 1 , d degrees from the trailhead cache. The distance (dab meters) is based on a straight line from cache to cache, not the distance down the trail. You do not need to leave the trail to get to this cache.
