Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Located in the center of O'neill, Nebraska at the intersection of Highways 20 and 281, this cache should be an easy find. At the intersection you will see the largest shamrock in Nebraska, which recieves a fresh limning every spring for St. Patrick's Day. You are encouraged to wear green here, even if it's not March, as this is the Irish Capital of Nebraska.

There is a bench to sit on if you get tired while looking, and if you're having trouble finding the cache, there is a replica Blarney Stone also, so kissing that might bring you luck. This is a high traffic area so stealth is required and there are numerous places to park along the street.

Across the street to the east is the Holt County Historical Museum and Genealogical Research Center, which is located in the restored Nebraska State Bank building that operated as that bank from 1910 to 1930. If you are here during their hours of operation, it would be a good place to learn more about O'Neill and Holt county. As usual, respect the area, CITO if needed, and please rehide as found. Thank you and good luck.

We lifted up the Blarney Stone a couple of times so Geopractor could look underneath (Hey, we had Abs of Steel with us and she's amazing - just as the Chinese waiter). Made the find, kissed the rock, danced on the giant clover and moved on to our next cache. We ended up eating Chinese in the Eireland! TFTC!
