Leapin’ Lizards we finally hid our first cache! We like to leave little plastic lizards in some of the caches we find, and we won some “jelly” ones at cookies crumbles courtesy of Kayak Kouple, so we decided to do a cache dedicated just to lizards. Please take one with you and bring it to a new cache to explore.
We followed the cross country ski trails out to the small bridge(don't walk on the groomed trail- the skiers don't like that), then followed someone's snow shoe prints. We didn’t see any trail markers, so not sure how close or far away from the trail we were. Can’t wait to see what this place looks like with out the snow.
You can access the trails from White Farm. The trail info states to park on the shoulder of Clinton St, but there were several cars in the farm driveway where people where prepping to ski and we parked there with no issue. If you are looking for a longer outing, you can also park at Memorial Field and follow the trails over from there, maybe we will hide some more caches along the way.
