A convict-build sandstone block tunnel, which was part of Tasmania's early road system. From GZ you can see the remains of an old road continuing up the opposite side of the creek. Up this road a short way, sections of quite substantial support walling are visible.
This micro cache is in a 35mm film container. Bring your own pen or pencil. FTF please take enclosed pin.
Look out for spiders, there are heaps of spider webs inside the tunnel. Bring a torch if you are feeling adventurous.
