this trail in sanborn/skyline, seems to be an old logging road and isn't on the park maps. it's beautiful and leads you on a walk through the redwoods, past a beautiful creek, and near a large canyon. you can park at the american youth hostel.
the cache marks the boundary of the park as there are no signs or fences to let you know otherwise.
i was hiking here with workerofwood and we both thought this would be a nice boundary marker for cachers.
the trail continues beyond the cache and makes it's way to a winery if you needed some refreshment.
the cache is an ammo box and hidden where a cacher would find it easily.
there is a log, pen, and a ftf prize.
