Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

Montara park, overlooking the beach

Montara State Beach has to be one of the most breathtaking locales on the peninsula. Discovered it for myself when I first moved here in 2006 and immediately fell in love with the place. Hopefully you'll get a glimpse why.

Cache is a white medium sized jug, about 10" tall. Park in the parking lot at the north end of the Montara park. Facing the ocean, take the trail at the left of the parking lot. About 20 feet past a yellow "Danger" sign, face left. The cache is about 50 feet off the trail. The area is covered with low vegetation, but definitely watch out for thorns and ticks in the summer.

Cache contains a variety of swag, including a set of stickers, a key chain, Scrabble tiles, etc.
