Merry Christmas!! Greetings from Northeast Ohio! Me & Bucky and I were on a roadtrip over Christmas. We cached our way from Las Vegas to San Diego. We spent Christmas Eve going from Vegas to Twentynine Palms, Christmas caching near Joshua Tree National Park, and Dec. 26 going to Salton Sea and then over to San Diego. Today we spent the day east of Twentynine Palms, mostly around Gold Crown Road. We cached all day and even after sunset. The half moon cast a bright shadow then, so it was easy. We ended up with over 100 caches for the day! We looked all around but just couldn't find it.

Merry Christmas!!!! Bucky & I weren't able to find this one while on a numbers run with Goat Haunt on the east side of 29 Palms. We figured that since we were going to be in town anyway, we might as well go after as many caches as we could! We headed out east along the highway several miles, then south onto the Gold Crown Road in the Dale area and began lapping up caches as though they were peppermint candy canes! Continued throughout the day, and even a little bit after sunset. We finally made it back to town around 7:00 p.m., and taking our cue from the movie "A Christmas Story," we had dinner from the Chinese restaurant in town (which was about the only thing open at that time of day). It was a great ending to a pretty cool day. The weather cooperated as well, with mostly sunny skies, very little wind, and temperatures in the mid-50s! Pretty close to some of the best weather I've ever had while caching on Christmas Day. We looked and looked and looked and looked but just weren't able to pry it out of its hidey hole. Oh well, we'll get it next time! Thanks for the hide!
