Geocache Description:

Great rest stop

This is a great place to stop and take a load off. The State Parks information center is next door. The beach includes a gentle waveslope for safe beach walking and exploring. Lots of day use picnik areas. Just to the south is Freshwater Lagoon.. a popular spot to bring kids and fish for trout.

If you look out over the ocean on a clear day.. you will see a great pinacle of rock about 5 miles offshore.. this is Redding Rock. This area is a popular rock fishing spot.. big ling cod and nice blacks are the norm here..

Since this can be a high traffic area.. I located the cache in a spot that lends itself to privacy for the geohunt .. it should prove to be a quick grab. No need to get dirty looking for this one! It is a small cache, room for small swag.. bring a pen. There is a FTF prize.
