Winter Friendly – Night friendly – winter season, snow shoes or cross country skis optional, but recommended - less than an hour round trip
Located off the beaten path, on Fish and Game Land, off a maintained snowmobile trail. There is a place to park one vehicle or so in the winter, on the corner of Beech Hill and Old Town Farm Rd. When the snow is not there you’ll find room at the gate entrance.
Easy flat terrain. Be aware of the random barbed wire fence a short way off the trail, north side.
This cache is “Night Friendly” second one on this path. If you get close enough and a beam of light hits it you’ll understand.
PLEASE return as found, or it won’t be at all night friendly.
In the winter, snowmobiles make a packed trail, we saw three when placing this, keep an eye out and move off the trail for safety sake. The trail is posted, NO off road wheeled vehicles allowed.
In the warmer seasons, this is a dirt packed road that turns to mud and may even flood in some areas.
