Geocache Description:

aka Attempt of a GEO Cache

Every year my family and I receive a christmas package from my mother in law in Germany. This year she hid a micro cache for me in the package. So while my family unwrapped their presents I was searching for the cache deep down in the package and after a while I found it well hidden between all the padding. The cache is a little metal container with the size of a film tube. It's labeled with ATTENTION - Versuch eines GEO Caches.

Currently my mother in law is on vacation here in Amherst. Today we hid the cache together along the Souhegan River. You are locking for a small camouflaged Lock'n Lock container. The cache is winter and flood friendly. We used the Lock'n Lock to protect the metal container from the weather. So it's a cache in a cache.

First To Find price is a special edition 2 euro coin. The national side shows the Holstentor ("Holsten Gate") of Lübeck, Germany. We have walked through this gate many many times. If you are visting Germany make sure you stop in Lübeck and explore this beautiful old town.

You can park side-of-the-road at the end of Fairway Drive in Amherst. There is a little trail head that leads to the Souhegan River. Please do not park in front of anyones home or block their driveway. Close to the telephone pole is a good spot. Obviously do not park during snow-plow operations.

There is no need to move any logs or stones. Please rehide the cache as you found it. If you take something please leave something. That's the Law!

Enjoy your hike along the Souhegan River. Oh, and watch out for low flying golf balls in the summer time.

Good luck, have fun and happy caching!
