You are looking for a large container hidden along the Paynes Prairie's beautiful Bolen Bluff trail. The cache is hidden just off the trail (no more than 15 feet)and off the ground. No need for bushwacking and please respect the vegetation and animals that live here. You are a guest on their turf. Please use caution when reaching into those little hidy places, as there might be a little snake or spider. A walking stick might come in handy for poking before reaching. The trail takes you through a shady mesic hammock with majestic oak trees, other hardwoods, cabbage palm, palmettos, that borders the prairie. This wonderful, peaceful retreat from busy city life lies just south of the Paynes Prairie eco-passage on US Hwy441 and makes for a great hike for the family. Deer, Bunnies, armadillos, squirrels are among the denizens of the woods. Sometimes the Prairie's bison or horses will wander in the shady woods. Birders love the abundance of warblers and other song birds. Enjoy the Trail and the Hunt. Please do NOT PLACE INAPROPRIATE ITEMS SUCH AS CANDY OR ADULT ITEMS in caches. If you take something, please leave something. Don't leave the cache empty. These caches are to be enjoyed by the while family. Think of the children!
