Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates but it is not far away!

So here comes my first mystery cache, hopefully not to difficult to solve. I came along this neat number sequence during my studies of computer science in Berlin, Germany in 1990. It’s one of the best number sequences I have seen so far. You will laugh once you figure it out.

Now here is the deal:

Work out the method to generate the number sequence and find the next term with 26 digits. Then assign each of the digits with the corresponding letter of the alphabet. Determine the cache location and go get it! Easy, isn’t it?

You can check your answers here.

The cache is a camouflaged nitro pill bottle. It contains only a log and a tiny little pencil. The cache area can be very wet after heavy rain, so please be prepared. Once you obtain the cache coordinates, parking along-the-road can be found by adding .011 to the north coordinates and by substracting .199 from the west coordinates.

Good luck, have fun and happy caching!
