Congrats to
yukionna for a quick 1000 finds!
The Yukionna is a snow spirit from Japanese folklore.
Nary an Essex County (MA) nor Rockingham County (NH) geocacher
has escaped the frosty kiss of the Wintery Ghost. In
less than ten months, yukionna has amassed 1,000
finds, leaving many a disappointed First To Find seeker frozen and
out of the running. Thank goodness for the comic relief provided by
Cody the Geo-Dog in this Elizabethan style tradgedy from a cauldron
pot of icy brew come through like a Nor'easter across the scape.
She is truly a geocaching force to be reckoned with. We wish the
geocachers in the Counties of York (ME), Strafford (NH), Merrimack
(NH), Belknap (NH), Hillsborough (NH), and Middlesex (MA) well, as
yukionna expands her caching domain with the next
thousand finds.
In an attempt at poetic justice, we have designed this evil two
stage Multi-Cache in hopes of catching the wild eyed honoree off
guard with a dozen visitors before the formidable
yukionna has a chance at signing the log on her own
tribute cache. We suspect the honoree will appreciate the challenge
and relish the thought of besting challengers who dare this frosty
gauntlet. This two stage Multi-Cache features coordinates placed at
the first stage adjacent to the parking area that leads to an easy
hike along Cody's favorite trails to a small magenta bison tube
Final hide. Please replace the caches as found.
Woodsom Farm is 370 acres of pastureland along both sides of
Lions Mouth Road owned by the Town of Amesbury as a conservancy.
The large meadow over drumlins, streams, and wetlands provide ample
bird nesting habitat. The Powow River along the north western
boundary runs from nearby lakes into Lake Gardner to the east,
through downtown and into the Merrimack River.
