I have placed a micro here in another way out.

Check how it is mounted before you remove it!!!!Put the cache back in the same position after logging
There are about 30 in the MMT# series and as they are growing in numbers there is a " MMT# series challenge" to take all check the Bookmark list to the right. Just note in the log how many you have managed to take
If you find it do not reveal it. It spoils the pleasure of finding the cache for others.
Give it instead your rating here and bring your own pen!

This area has during all times been connected with ships, travel and trade. When Gothenburg grew in the 17th century a lot of shipyards were placed here to equip the Navy ships and the ships of the Estindian company and the habour was as well used for trade with iron and wood

Wood together with iron was during the 17th century the main export goods and with the river close by that gave work for many craftsmen.
This created as well a need for a sail weaver, production of ropes, brewery and other professions.
The more bourgeois life in the city was here a little rougher with a lot of drinking as this was the only fun they had after a hard days work.
Between "Klippan" and "Masthugget" there were 17 legal tavern and a lot of illegal and this is rather much for Gothenburgs population in 1730 of about 15000 people.
Places like "Slintan"and "Guldklimpen" were some of the biggest and here you could get drunk and even get company of girls called " Luftballongen, Kalkon-Johanna, Röda kon, Bond-Brita and Skorstensfågeln"

During almost 200 years a winddriven sawmill (picture above) was in operation on the " Majorna"hill
The sawmill (Dutch model) was owned by wealthy families in Gothenburg and gave work to about 250 people.
The name "Masthugget" originates from that as big masts were produced for ships and traded mainly to England.

Later thousands of emigrants to the US were standing here waiting with big eyes and worried hearts as the emigrant road is ending here.
In the fifties this way out was used by The Swedish American Line as the only way to go to America and now Stena Line is helping us this way out.
Enjoy the view of the harbour
I hope that I have inspired you!
