FIN:Tämä on ensimmäinen ryhmämme laatima geokätkö. Se on
myös ensimmäinen suunnittelemassamme ”kryptokätköjen”
sarjassa joka esittelee entisaikojen salakirjoitusmenetelmiä.
Annetut koordinaatit johtavat Kokkolan ruotsinkielisen lukion,
Svenska Gymnasiumin pihalle, mutta itse kätkö sijaitsee jossain
Villan koulun alueella, toisella puolen kaupunkia.
Saadaksesi tarvittavat korjaukset annettuihin koordinaatteihin
sekä muita lisäohjeita, sinun on purettava alla oleva, 1700 luvun
Ranskassa käytetty salakirjoitus. 
Villan koulu
Villan koulu on perustettu 1869 ja se on Pohjanmaan vanhin
toiminnassa oleva, ruotsinkielistä perusopetusta antava koulu.
Nykyinen koulurakennus valmistui 1950 luvulla vanhan
koulurakennuksen viereen. Koulussa on 7 + 3 luokkaa ja tällä
hetkellä yhteensä 141 oppilasta. Samassa rakennuksessa toimivat
myös ruotsinkielinen esikoulu sekä kaksi päiväkotia, Knattebo ja
Villabo. Vanha koulurakennus on edelleen olemassa ja siellä on
monimuotoista kaupungin tukemaa harrastustoimintaa.
Honoré Gabriel de Riquetti de Mirabeau
Ranskan vallankumouksen kansalliskokouksen puhemies, Honoré
Gabriel de Riquetti de Mirabeau (1749 – 1791) käytti
henkilökohtaisena salakirjoituksenaan keksimäänsä numerokoodia.
Tällä menetelmällä salattu viesti näyttää joukolta murtolukuja.
Aloita salakirjoituksen murtaminen tekemällä salakirjoitusavain.
Piirrä esim. viisi neliötä ja numeroi ne. Sen jälkeen kirjoita
kuhunkin neliöön kirjain kerrallaan aakkoset niin, että kussakin
neliössä on yhtä monta kirjainta. Lopuksi, anna kussakin neliössä
olevalle kirjaimelle järjestysnumero. Salakirjoituksessa murtoluvun
osoittaja kertoo mihin ryhmään kirjain kuuluu ja nimittäjä
ilmoittaa monesko kirjain se on ko ryhmässä. Murtolukujen
muodostamisessa ei tarvita kaikkia numeroita. Kuitenkin,
salakirjoituksen vahvistamiseksi myös näitä merkityksettömiä
numeroita on lisätty satunnaisessa järjestyksessä murtolukuihin
koodin purkajan hämäämiseksi.
Salakirjoituksessa annettavat koordinaattien korjaukset ovat
yksiköltään kaariminuutteja. Latitudin korjaus vähennetään
annetusta arvosta ja annettuun longitudiin korjaus lisätään.
Huom !
Koska kätkö sijaitsee koulun alueella, sitä on koulupäivien
aikana hyvin vaikea, lähes mahdoton logata huomaamatta. Paras
kätköilyaika on iltaisin koulupäivien päätyttyä ja viikonloppuisin.

ENG:This cache is the very first geocache, which our team
have ever prepared. It is also the first one in planned series of
“crypto caches”, which introduces various cipher
methods from tha past. Given coordinates leads you in front of
Svenska Gymnasium, The Swedish High School, but the cache itself is
located in the yard of Villa School, other side of the town. To get
necessary corrections for given coordinates and other important
instructions you must solve attached cipher text, which was used
during French revolution in the middle of 1700’s.
Villa School
Villa school is established in the 1869 and it is the oldest one
in Ostrobotnia, which gives basic education in Swedish language. In
the 1950’s present school building completed beside of the
old one. The school comprise 7 + 3 classes, at the moment
altogether 141 pupils. The Swedish infant’s school and two
nurseries, Knattebo and Villabo operate in the same building, too.
The old school building still exists and there are multiform hobby
and free time activities sponsored by the Town of Kokkola.
Honoré Gabriel de Riquetti de Mirabeau
The spokesman of the national convention in the French
revolution, Honoré Gabriel de Riquetti de Mirabeau (1749 –
1791) used as his personal cryptography the code he was invented.
The message encrypted by this method looked like a goup of
fractions.
Start cracking the cipher text by making the code key. Draw e.g.
five boxes and number them. Then write alphabets into the boxes one
letter at the time. Finally number every letter in each box. In the
Mirabeau’s cipher text a numerator indicates in which one of
the five groups certain character belongs and a denominator shows
which letter is in question. To formulate these fractions all
numbers are not necessary. However, these meaningless numbers have
been added randomly to the fractions in purpose to confuse the
decoder.
The units of given corrections in the cipher text are minutes of
arc. Correction for the latitude shall be subtracted from given
value and for the longitude it shall be added.
Attention !
Because the cache is located in the schoolyard, its almost
impossible to log it during school hours. The best time for logging
is in the evenings or during weekends.Do not leave the cache
visible! Please, put it back as it was !
