Cache is about 1/2 mile from the parking on an old woods road which goes down a bit then up gently.
If you like a view....if you like cemeteries...if you like back roads...you are going to love this cache! Credit needs to go out to The Appalachian Mountain Teen Project for publishing the "Lakes Region Trail Guide" which brought me years ago to Whiteface, and now finally to this walk. Park across from the Cotton Mountain Community Church on Stoneham Road in Wolfeboro/Brookfield. Facing the church, go right for just a bit to the woods road, which will then be on your left. First cemetery is right here. Follow your GPS to the cache which is a camoued round plastic jar with room for smaller trinkets. The road is not plowed nor snowmobiled for the first part. I used snowshoes on the delightful March day that I discovered and hid this cache. The road continues past the view (and the cache) and comes out on Tibbetts Hill Ext...but it looks like it goes right through someone's driveway. I turned around.
In several places along the road are nice signs welcoming you to Fossum Farm, private land but open for hiking, horseback riding, etc. A big Thank You to such thoughtful land owners.
There is a bonus cache and its coordinates are on the log, so don't forget to record it!
