After finding all of the existing 5 caches KendraH and I explored the remaining trails. Since there were no caches in this part of La Honda Creek OSP we decided to do our geocaching duty and drop a couple. After considering the boring name LH02 we decided to name it More Lemming Bait in honor of two other nearby caches.
You are looking for a medium sized Bison tube. Trade items must be very small.
My GPSr showed almost 6 miles of hiking to find all of the caches in this area. It shouldn't take too long so what are you waiting for? Hiking in this open space preserve is allowed by permit only, but permits are easy to obtain. Call the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District field office at 650-691-1200 a few days ahead of time to get a free permit.
