PLEASE REPLACE WHERE FOUND.

GPS Signal may drift a bit in the tree !

Suggested Car Parking is at N51 15 383 W000 11 476, in Wray Lane. The Car Park is found off the M25 junction 8 at Reigate. As you follow the A217 towards Reigate from Reigate Hill there is a picnic and Parking sign on the first turning on the left. Facilities available but is very popular.

A Tragic Accident
on 19th March 1945 an aircraft of the US 384th Bomber Group stationed at station 1O6 Grafton-Underwood in Northamptonshire Was returning from a bombing raid on a town called Plauen on the czech border.Thge B17 Flying Fortress 43-39035 SO -F, was returning home. Flying over Kent with a cloud base of 800 feet and broken at 300 ft. At1740 hrs the aircraft crashed in to the side of colley hill.

All of the crew lost their lives.
