Near the fort at landguard. and next to the Nature Reserve well known for bird watching. the terrain is good and is ok for buggies but there is a slope and shingle to negotiate
A round white container with enough room for a log book, pen and a few tiny swaps there is no room for TBs or coins.

This cache can be a quick cache and dash, or you can have a nice walk across landguard common and the Reserve.
There is also a parking area with views of the river and ships coming and going

The fort is well worth a look and is open from 10 am till 5-6 pm from the end of March till November 7 days a week. This is the site where in 1667 the Dutch were defeated by Captain Nathaniel Darell. You can visit the fort from both car parks.
Dogs welcome in fort on a lead.

Taking advantage of one of the few sunny days so far this year we decided to go watch the ships at Felixstowe. This cache was right on the doorstep so couldn't resist paying it a visit. Loads of muggles about so had to do a bit of wandering till it was clear to investigate the possible cache locations. Passed this one twice before brain clicked into true caching mode and I investigated the location of the cache. Think this was a really neat hide. Thanks for the cache. Micky's Many Miles dropped in for mileage as too big for the cache.

Hi Just thought I'd let you know, I filled in the last slot on your log today. Unfortunately, I had no spare paper with me! There is still some space on the reverse so might buy you a little time.

Regards

Richard Mallett
