Requirements
In order to get a smiley here, you must follow these requirements:
  1. Fulfill the challenge requirements (see the Rules section for details).
  2. Find the cache at the given coordinates.
  3. Sign the log in the cache.
  4. Log your find here and include the date you fulfilled the challenge requirements. Novac will check that date and add you to the list of Busy Cachers below.

Location Details
This cache is located in Clay Park Central I. The park hours are 6 am to 9 pm.

Rules
In order to log this cache as "found", you must follow this set of rules:
  1. You must first complete the challenge portion of this cache by finding SIX cache types in ONE DAY! The thirteen acceptable cache types are:
    Traditional Cache
    Multi-Cache (Offset Cache)
    Mystery or Puzzle Caches
    Letterbox Hybrid
    EarthCache
    Virtual Cache
    Webcam Cache
    Wherigo™ Cache
    Event Cache
    Mega-Event Cache
    Cache In Trash Out Event
    GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit
    Project A.P.E. Cache
Locationless caches do NOT qualify for this challenge!
Benchmarks do NOT qualify for this challenge!
  2. Benchmarks and locationless types do NOT count toward the goal!
  3. Your busy day can be from any day, regardless of if it was from before this cache was published. Your busy day must be on or after 04/26/09. Previous busy days do not count at this time. Now that 25 people have found the cache, the restriction has been lifted.
  4. This cache container cannot count toward its own goal. This cache does not count as the Unknown cache type and cannot be one of your six caches. If you find an Unknown cache type as part of this challenge, it cannot be this cache (GC1P1MZ).
  5. In order to log your find and get your smiley, you must locate the physical cache and sign the log. (The cache is at the coordinates listed above.)
  6. You are not required to find this cache container on the same day you fulfilled the challenge requirements. You do need to include in your log the date that you fulfilled the challenge requirements, though. If you do find this cache on the same day, you must do so after fulfilling the requirements. You cannot find 3 cache types, then sign the log for this cache, then find the 3 remaining cache types.
  7. Cache hides/placements do not count toward this goal. Only finds are valid.
  8. Caches may be from any location/state. This challenge is not restricted to New York. The cache title includes "in NY" simply to clarify where this cache is physically located compared with the other Busy Day caches.
  9. You do not need to obtain permission from the cache owner before logging this find. The cache owner will research your finds once you log your entry to confirm that you have fulfilled the requirements. Additionally, the cache owner will attempt to contact you for clarification before deleting any logs.

How is this challenge possible???
Though it takes planning, it is possible to grab six (and even eight) cache types in one day. The great thing about this cache is that it's a difficult challenge, and it's even harder for those die-hard cachers who have cleared all the caches nearby.

Credits: Props to PJPeters, who put out the original challenge of this type, "A Well-Rounded Day". Thanks also to all the others who placed their own Well-Rounded Day/One Busy Day caches.

Congratulations to THEQUEENSREPLY and LCSM for taking the extra initiative for the FTF! Instead of waiting three days to take the easy route, they drove many miles to make for a truly busy day!
You can hover over the cache type icons to see which caches each person found to fulfill this challenge. These are just the first 25 cachers to find the challenge cache. Congratulations to all cachers who were able to make for one busy day!

I knew we would be in this park for N3's soccer tourney this weekend, so I checked to see what caches were here. Was intrigued by this one, and since we were about to go to Mendon Ponds for the first time soon, I knew we had a shot. Last weekend (7/17/10) we found the following:

Traditional: GC28VYQ - Holy Smokes - An Ammo Can
Multi: GCN8ZK - J&R's Outdoor Store Cache
Earthcache: GCMYFK - Bathing with the Devil Earthcache
Letterbox: GCJWMP - Canal Kayaker
Virtual: GCH25Z - GPS-O (Mendon Ponds Park)
Puzzle: GC1D5NR - Ode to Doe

I stopped by between games and found after a bit and after a number of mosquito attacks. Thanks for the challenge, and the cache!

It only seemed right to find this cache with Jack2u. I was with him when we found 10 cache types in 1 day on May1st 2010 and with him when we found 8 cache types on Feb 13th 2010. Thanks for the challenge.and cache.

I had a blast doing the "One Busy, Well-Rounded Day in NY" in NY. I was up in the north Catskills for the Holiday so I hit a bunch of caches north of the Catskills but south of Albany. I hit them in the order listed below. I saved the "easiest" for last but almost DNF'd a Virtual cache. I know...I know...

Date found for all caches were 7/3/10

Earthcache: GC1X8F1 "Fractures From the Distant Past"

Letterbox hybrid: GC1JM2K "1Irishgirl, will you marry me?"

Multi cache: GCQE15 "the Brooklyn Bridge starts here ?"

Mystery cache: GC16BD0 "Looking to the stars * * * "

Traditional cache: GC22CDW "Vanderbilt Park Micro Cache

Virtual cache: GC6D07 "kaaterskill falls"

Now I just need to get my butt to the Syracuse area.

This was our holiday tour. We had our busy well rounded day on Father's Day and found:
Webcam: UofR Meridian GCGPW1
EarthCache: Furnaceville Hematite GC1GDKF
Virtual: GPS-O (Webster Park) GCJM6W
Traditional: The Real Palooza GCZA62T
Multi: Spoongouge's First GC11YVF
Unknown: The Final Sense: Nonsense GCZ7V4

and finished this on Independence Weekend!

We made the rookie mistake of not spraying before searching and once we were at gz the skeeters reminded us. Thankfully had the spray in the bag and we think that may have caused the skeeters to feel they had their own challenge to overcome. With all the overgrowth and bugs, we have a few battle scars to show for this challenge. TFTC
