Geocache Description:


The water transportation by the Tenryu river was done from Edo period to the Meiji era in Ina City.
The name of a place of "Irifune" (meaning of "Place of enter the ship") still remains though it has been abolished in the latter half of the Meiji era.
Cache is around the "Irifune" intersection.

伊那市では、江戸時代から明治時代まで、天竜川による水運が行われていました。
明治時代の後半には廃止されてしまいましたが、今でも、入舟の地名が残っています。

キャッシュはそんな「入舟」交差点の周辺にあります。
