Scenic spot over loooking Devereux Beach. The cache is easy to get to, but not always easy to find , particularly in the summer when the vegetation is lush!
This is a beautiful spot that is often driven by, as most people are heading out to some other spot on the Neck, such as Castle Rock, The Lighthouse, one of the Yacht Clubs, etc.
People who head to Devereux Beach usually park in the public parking at the far end of the beach and never walk down to this end (their loss). In this little outcrop is an enchanting spot that you can see the Atlantic, the Harbor and the Boston skyline in the distance. It is a lovely area for a picnic and a dip in the Ocean in the summer time and a wonderful place to get one's thoughts together in the off season
Our favorite time is mid-tide, when a beautiful little sheltered beach is exposed.
