How Geocaching Works
The path you take is the path you make, literally. Cache may only be 300ft away from the road, but the area is very overgrown with waist-high grass. Keep an eye out for rogue ammo boxes!
This cache is located near a small stream that runs along the northeast corner of Marshfield. It's called home to several dozen deer that graze in this thicket nearby, and if you're lucky you might even see some craw fish in the water. I used to come here as a kid, always trying to find ways to dam the stream (I never did have much success, but it was worth a lot of laughs!). It's a great place to wander around in the summer, if you're not afraid of bugs, snakes or furry woodland creatures!
Use stealth when retrieving this cache and rehide it well! Odds are I wasn't the only person who frequented this area as a kid, and I probably wasn't the last. And as always, practice CITO while on the hunt!
