Geocache Description:

Ono shrine and Yahiko shirine is a Shinto shrine in which the history exists in Nagano Prefecture.
The site adjoins two shrines.
The Ono shrine is in Shiojiri City. However, the Yahiko shrine is land in Tatsuno Town in the neighbor town.
Because surroundings in two shrines are Shiojiri City, the Yahiko shrine is enclaves in Tatsuno Town.

Why have it become these kind of things?
The answer goes back until the 16th century.

The fight was generated as a lord of Chikuma county (present Shiojiri City etc.) in the north and a lord of Ina county (present Tatsuno Town etc.) in the south over surroundings (Ono Village) in the Shinto shrine in 1591.
Recently, because Hideyoshi Toyotomi was ruling over the whole country, Hideyoshi has divided Ono Village into the north and the south to solve this fight.
The boundary is continuing now.

Thus, please prepare the amount of money usual twice in the money offering ;-)

小野神社と矢彦神社は、長野県の中でも歴史のある神社です。
２つの神社は敷地が隣り合っています。
小野神社は塩尻市にあります。しかし、矢彦神社は隣町の辰野町の土地です。
２つの神社の周囲は塩尻市ですから、矢彦神社は、辰野町の飛び地です。

何故こんなことになってしまったのか？
答えは、１６世紀まで遡ります。

１５９１年、神社の周囲（小野郷）をめぐって、北の筑摩郡（現在の塩尻市など）の領主と、南の伊那郡（現在の辰野町など）の領主とで争いが発生しました。
この頃は、豊臣秀吉が天下を治めていたので、この争いを解決するために、秀吉は小野郷を北と南に分けてしまいました。
その境界が、現在も続いているというわけです。
というわけで、お賽銭は、普段の倍用意して下さい（笑）。

キャッシュは、小さなプラスチックケースです。
ペンがありませんのでお持ち下さい。
境内は樹木が多くGPSが安定しないかもしれません。
