[LAT] Šis ir otrais slepnis Garkalne army base serija.
Slepnis ir lock-lock tipa konteiners. Sakotnejais slepna saturs ir
viesu gramatu, zimulis, davanina priekš FTF un citi mainas
priekšmeti.
[ENG] This is the 2nd cache in the series of Garkalne army base.
Cache is small lock-lock type container. Original cache contains
log-book, pencil, gift for FTF and some trading items.

Slepnis ir novietots dabas lieguma „Garkalnes
meži” teritorija ziemelu dala, kas padomju gados tikusi
izmantota militaram vajadzibam – Padomju armijas municijas
glabatuve. No baze esošajiem objektiem nesagruvuši ir
palikuši vairs tikai daži. Raksturojot bijušo
militaro bazi, butiski uzvert, ka ta ir salidzinoši atklata
teritorija 162 hektaru platiba. Ši teritorija ir stipri
neviendabiga. Taja raksturigi izkliedes izvietoti mazi meža
puduriši un atseviški veci koki (domine priedes), kas
paši par sevi kalpo ka butiskas melnas dzilnas un citu tas
dobumos ligzdojošo putnu sugu ligzdošanas vietas.
Teritorija ir ari daudz pamestu, agrak militaram vajadzibam lietotu
eku un to gruvešu. Viena no šadu eku paneliem
konstatets ligzdojam ari zalas varnas paris. Tapat šos
objektus ka ligzdošanas vietu nereti izmanto pupuki. Pati
atklata teritorija ir smilšaina ar nabadzigu augaju.

Cache is hidden North side of territory of nature reserve
“Garkalnes meži”. In Soviet times this territory
was used for military purposes – there were armory and ammo
warehouse. Most of buildings in territory are collapsed and
abandoned. The territory area reaches 162 ha and mostly is covered
with small trees clumps mostly pine-tree. In several of collapsed
building fundamentals are discovered protected bird species like
roller.
